MAINTENANCE:

The degree of maintenance required will vary with each installation according to the environmental conditions surrounding the installation. Maintenance will also be affected by the amount of use given to the surface. Excessive use may require a maintenance coating after several years.

REPAIRS:

Where a large repair is required, this should be carried out by the manufacturer. Smaller repairs can be carried out by the owner (depending on the track surface) after consultation with the manufacturer and using the original manufacturer's materials. Synthetic coverings with painted or sealed layers which require repairs can be repaired either by resurfacing a whole area or by spot application. This will depend on the degree of use on the surface. Track and field markings can become less clear through bleaching or abrasion. These lines can be easily renewed.
